Earlier this year, OnePlus ran a photography contest in its forums, and about a week ago it announced the winners, shipping each of them a OnePlus One “Camera Test Unit” to play with. One of those winners has received his prize and is now sharing the pics he was able to grab with it. The photographer comments, “lets just all erase any doubt about this camera now, its simply a joy to take photographs with.”
You can also see that despite the 13MP Sony sensor, at least one of these sample images weighs in at 50MP, suggesting we could be looking at an Oppo-Super-Zoom-style interpolation mode.
