TechNow: Leaked HTC sales materials show how the M8 is better than the S5

HTC has always brought some of the most amazing innovations we have ever scene, be it Android's first skin, HTC Sense or their Windows Mobile today screen replacement HTC TouchFlo 3D (later called HTC Sense). One of the things HTC has always ignored is marketing and advertising. This is all going to change this year as HTC is now going to focus on advertising their 2014 flagship, the HTC One M8.

Have a look at the leaked images of a marketing campaign by HTC to show the world how superior their flagship is when compared to Samsung's Galaxy S5

Looking at the image above:
  1. HTC boasts about their device being having a more premium feel in the hand, and that is true. A unibody aircraft-grade aluminium with a hairline finish is much better than dimpled plastic.
  2. Another thing which is amazing about HTC One M7 and the One M8 are its dual frontal "Boomsound" speakers which make sense as the sound is firing towards you unlike a mono rear facing speaker. Also, the Sprint variant comes with Harman/Kardon Audio for those missing Beats Audio.
  3. HTC One M8 is also contextually aware and has a low power mode for all these sensors like the MotoX. But this is used for features like Motion Launch.
  4. Even though we are not complete fans of the HTC Ultrapixel 4MP sensor without OIS, it is interesting to see what HTC has brought to the table with the HTC Duo camera and the 2MP depth senor.
  5. And lastly, for Americans, you get HTC Advantage (it's a service; not the 2007 pocketpc)

HTC is also boasting their Zoe camera features and their aggregating Blinkfeed. HTC Sense 6 is also much more polished and refined when compared to TouchWiz on the Galaxy S5. Eventhough the Extreme PowerSaver Mode basically turns your phone into a dumbphone,  it is a nifty little feature.
Is anyone swayed by these selling points? Or are you going to get a Galaxy S5, or take your business elsewhere entirely?
