Last year’s iPad mini with the Retina display is a stunning tablet, feels great to use, and measures up favourably in comparison to its larger sibling. One of our few concerns was its price, and even though it offered a lower point of entry than the iPad Air, starting at $400 made it significantly pricier than it's Android counterpart, the Nexus 7 (2013).
This week, however, Apple gives shoppers the opportunity to pick up a Retina iPad mini at a nice discount, opening sales of refurbished models. It looks like the 16GB model is already sold out (it was there just hours ago), but the 32GB and 64GB WiFi-only versions are still up for sale. All these refurbed models offer savings of about 15% over their brand-new full-price equivalents.
