TechNow: Thought the MotoG was a value budget android? Well, have a look at their upcoming budget offering, MotoE

Specifications of a yet to be announced Moto E have leaked. Motorola plans to place it below the Moto G in their product range.

Leaked specs of the Moto E show a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of built-in memory which will likely be further expandable,  as 4GB will not get you anywhere in terms of available storage these days.

The display of the Moto E is a 4.3" unit with unknown resolution (mostly qHD or WVGA).  A 5MP main camera along with a  front-facing snapper will satisfy your photographic needs on this budget device. All of this will be kept running by a relatively large (for its segment) 1900mAh battery.  FM radio is also said to make an appearance here, and Android 4.4 KitKat will be the operating system.

But more notably is that the leaked 124.8 x 64.8 x 6.2mm physical measures of the Moto E are truly impressive. The handset will be significantly more thinner than both the Moto G (11.6mm thick) and the Moto X (10.4mm thick).

The Moto E is rumored to arrive in the coming weeks on the Mexican wireless carrier Telcel carrying the model number XT1021. Its price tag is expected to be lower than that of the Moto G.
